This connector, also called a pigtail, links the temperature sensor or control unit to the climate system harness. A damaged or corroded connector here can cause erratic or complete loss of climate control operation. It came from an Audi A3, A3 Quattro, or S3 with engines including 1.4L, 1.8L, 2.0L gas or diesel, and 3.2L V6.
