This used OEM BMW left adaptive HID xenon headlight, part number 7298451, was removed from a donor X5. The headlamp automatically adjusts the beam pattern based on steering angle and vehicle speed, improving visibility on curves. When the adaptive function fails, the headlight may not swivel or can trigger a dashboard warning. Common issues include flickering from HID bulb degradation or moisture inside the housing.
