This used Volkswagen air filter box cover / lower half housing (OEM 7L6128607N) is a genuine factory part removed from a donor vehicle. It is the left-side lower section that secures and seals the air filter element on 5.0L V10 TDI Touareg models. A cracked or missing lower half can allow unfiltered air and debris into the intake, potentially harming the turbocharged diesel engine. This housing is also commonly called the air filter box lower cover.
