A used OEM Audi air intake duct, part number 8K0129618E (also replaces 8K0129617E), directs filtered air to the throttle body on 1.8L and 2.0L turbocharged, as well as 3.0L supercharged V6 engines. When this duct cracks or the seal fails, unmetered air can enter, causing idle issues or a lean condition. It's commonly known simply as the air intake duct.
