A genuine BMW auxiliary coolant / water pump, OEM part number 8600286 (also supersedes 8679882), sourced from a donor vehicle. This used pump is specific to the BMW i3 and i3s with the 0.6L range-extender engine—the 647cc two-cylinder REX unit. Also called an auxiliary water pump, it circulant coolant through the range extender’s cooling loop. When failing, it can cause the range extender to overheat or produce insufficient cabin heat during REX operation.
