This used BMW brake fluid reservoir / tank (OEM 6860686, also replaces 34336860686) holds the hydraulic fluid that transfers pressure from the master cylinder to the brake calipers. A cracked or leaking reservoir can cause a low-fluid warning or a spongy brake pedal, compromising stopping power. This genuine OEM part was removed from a donor vehicle, cleaned, and inspected. It consists of the plastic tank and cap assembly. Have a qualified shop install and bleed the brake system after replacement.
