This used OEM BMW rear bumper reinforcement bar / impact beam (OEM 7301234) provides the structural backing for the rear bumper cover and absorbs low-speed collision forces. Originally removed from a donor vehicle, this genuine part is a direct replacement for the factory-installed bar on the rear of the vehicle. Over time or after an impact, a bent or cracked reinforcement bar can lead to a sagging or misaligned bumper cover and reduced crash protection.
