This used OEM BMW convertible top motor shaft / cable (part 7154658) is the right-side component that drives the top mechanism. Also called the convertible top cable, it transfers motor rotation to raise and lower the roof. When this shaft or cable fails, the top may stop mid-cycle or the motor may run without movement. Removed from BMW 645Ci, 650i, and M6 models with 4.4L V8, 4.8L V8, or 5.0L V10 gasoline engines.
