This lock actuator rod, sometimes called a door lock rod, connects the interior handle mechanism to the lock—a common failure point that can prevent the door from latching or unlocking properly. Removed from a BMW X1 or X2 donor with 1.5L or 2.0L turbo engines, this factory rod restores smooth mechanical locking action.
