The suction tube ensures proper oil flow from the oil pan to the oil pump, preventing potential low oil pressure issues. A worn or damaged tube can lead to inadequate lubrication and engine performance problems. Replace when experiencing oil pressure drops or leaks. Interchangeable with Bosch part number 7556028.
