Used BMW exhaust camshaft, OEM part number 7568197, also replaces 7629527. This is a right-side camshaft for the exhaust bank. It controls valve timing on the N63 and S63 4.4L twin-turbo V8 engines, as well as the 4.8L naturally aspirated V8 found in certain X5 and X6 models. A worn camshaft can cause rough idle, reduced power, or a check engine light from timing correlation faults.
