This is a used OEM BMW exhaust camshaft, part number 7568205, also replacing 7629526, for the left bank. It's a genuine BMW component removed from a donor vehicle. This camshaft operates the exhaust valves on the left side of the engine, and is specific to the 4.4L N63 and N63TU V8 turbocharged engines, as well as the 4.8L naturally aspirated V8 found in certain 5-Series, 6-Series, 7-Series, Alpina B7, and X5/X6 models. A worn camshaft can cause rough idle, misfires, and reduced power.
