This BMW exhaust flap actuator/motor (OEM 7620322) is a used genuine BMW part. Also replaces 8632154 and 8626612. It controls the flap in the exhaust system to regulate sound and backpressure, commonly used on BMW 2.0L and 3.0L turbo engines, plus the 1.5L PHEV and 3.0L hybrid. The actuator can fail without warning; symptoms include a check engine light or inconsistent exhaust noise.
