This used genuine OEM BMW Head-up Display Wiring Connector / Pigtail—also known as the HUD wiring connector or pigtail—carries part numbers 9240166, 9246210, and 9211885. It was removed from a donor BMW 5 Series equipped with either a 3.0L inline-6 (naturally aspirated or turbocharged) or a 4.4L V8 engine. The connector supplies power and data to the head-up display; a failing pigtail can cause intermittent display or a blank HUD. Replacing this factory connector restores reliable HUD function.
