This is a used OEM BMW intake cam / camshaft, part number 7568202, also superseding 7629528. It is the left-side camshaft for the engine's intake valves. A worn or damaged camshaft can cause rough idle, reduced power, or a ticking noise from the valve train. This camshaft is from a BMW donor vehicle and fits several N63/N62/S63-series V8 and N55-series inline-six engines, including 4.4L turbocharged and 3.0L turbocharged or naturally aspirated variants.
