This BMW Leak Detection Pump / LDP Dust Filter (OEM 7171081, also replaces 7164407) is a used genuine part removed from a donor vehicle. The LDP monitors the evaporative emissions system for leaks; when it fails, it often triggers a check engine light for a small EVAP leak. It fits models equipped with the N52, N54, N55, or N63 engine families.
