BMW part 6822520 is a used OEM parking brake and auto hold switch, commonly called the parking brake switch or auto hold switch. This genuine BMW switch controls the electronic parking brake engagement and the auto hold feature that keeps the vehicle stationary at stops. Common symptoms of a failing switch include the parking brake not releasing or the auto hold function becoming intermittent. This switch also replaces OEM numbers 9387356, 9385028, 9355232, and many others in the 9-series range.
