BMW front left seat backrest release cover, OEM part number 6977459 (also replaces 6985587). This used genuine BMW part is the plastic cap that covers the seatback release mechanism on the driver's side front seat. When this cover is missing or broken, the release handle becomes exposed and difficult to operate.
