This BMW steering tie rod (OEM 6871892) is a used genuine part, removed from a donor vehicle. It's the right-side assembly, complete with boot—commonly called a tie rod end or steering tie rod. This component connects the steering rack to the wheel hub, controlling toe angle and tire wear. A failing tie rod can cause loose steering, a wandering feel, or a clunking noise over bumps. Fits selected BMW X3 and X4 models with 2.0L and 3.0L turbocharged engines.
