This genuine BMW strut assembly (OEM 6850962) is a used front right unit removed from a 6-series donor. Also supersedes 6863126 and 6859780. Designed for the 640i and 650i with either the 3.0L turbo inline-six or 4.4L twin-turbo V8, this strut and coil-over component controls wheel motion and absorbs road impacts. A failing shock can cause a bouncy ride, fluid leakage, or uneven tire wear due to reduced damping.
