Used BMW Top-hifi Amplifier, OEM part 6982299, is a genuine amplifier pulled from a donor vehicle. This unit also replaces a long series of earlier part numbers including 9170386, 9166334, and 9150899. It powers the premium sound system in 3 Series models with the M54 2.5L or 3.0L naturally aspirated inline-six engines. When the Top-hifi amp fails, common symptoms are no audio from the speakers, distorted sound, or a complete system dropout.
