This used BMW transmission oil pump, with interchange numbers 7597560, 7593224, and 7614278, was removed from a donor vehicle. It is the hydraulic pump responsible for circulating fluid to maintain lubrication and pressure within the transmission. In the naturally aspirated 3.0L engine (2996cc I6) fitted to the listed BMW models, a failing pump can lead to slipping, harsh gear changes, or overheating.
