Audi trunk hatch latch/lock, OEM part number 4M0827506D. This is a used genuine OEM latch assembly removed from a donor vehicle. It also replaces 4M0827506B and 4M0827506C. This latch secures the trunk lid closed and releases it when the handle or remote is activated. A common failure symptom is the trunk failing to latch shut or the release mechanism becoming unresponsive, requiring the latch to be replaced.
