The Volkswagen 5NA827506 trunk hatch latch/lock is a used OEM lock assembly removed from an Atlas or Atlas Cross Sport. Also referred to as the trunk latch or hatch lock, it secures the rear cargo opening on models equipped with either the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder or the 3.6L V6. Over time, the latch mechanism can stick, fail to fully engage, or cause the trunk to pop open unexpectedly.
