This genuine Mercedes OEM trunk hatch seal (weather stripping, part 1647401378) is a used piece removed from a donor GL-class. It cushions and seals the rear hatch opening against moisture, dust, and road noise. Over time, the rubber can compress or crack, allowing water leaks or whistling wind sounds at highway speeds. This seal fits the 3.0L diesel V6 as well as the 4.7L and 5.5L V8 gasoline engines found in GL320, GL450, and GL500 models.
