This is a used genuine BMW 6-speed Manual Shift Knob, OEM part number 7550685. Also known as a shifter knob or gearshift knob, it also replaces several earlier part numbers including 7531074 and 7522219. This knob is the top-mounted control for the manual transmission, providing the tactile interface for gear changes. A worn or loose knob can make shifting feel imprecise or cause the gear pattern to be misaligned, so this original part restores the correct feel and engagement.
