Store Policies

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026. This policy applies to wolfautoparts.com and to cart and checkout on shop.wolfautoparts.com.

Wolf Auto LLC ("Wolf Auto Parts", "we") runs wolfautoparts.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you browse, buy or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Browsing, search and product pages are served by Wolf Auto Parts; cart and checkout run on Shopify at shop.wolfautoparts.com. This policy covers both.

Personal Information We Collect or Process

  • Contact and order details you give us: name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, and what you bought. Payment card details are collected and processed by Shopify and its payment providers; we never see your full card number.
  • Messages you send through the contact form, live chat, fitment questions or the sell-your-car form, including any photos and vehicle details (such as a VIN) you include.
  • Device and usage data collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, searches run, vehicles selected, items added to cart, and the site or ad that referred you. This comes from cookies and similar technologies.

How This Website Works and What It Collects

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Analytics storage is on by default for US visitors and turns off automatically when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal or you have previously opted out. We also receive aggregate, cookie-free traffic statistics from Cloudflare.
  • Security. Cloudflare sits in front of the site to block abusive traffic and cache pages. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you are not a bot; Turnstile may process your IP address and browser characteristics for that purpose.
  • Forms and chat. Form submissions are emailed to our team through Mailchimp Transactional (Mandrill) and used only to respond to you. Live chat messages are relayed to our support team through Slack.
  • Order attribution. When you add a part to your cart we attach an anonymous analytics client ID and, if you arrived from an ad, the ad click ID, so a completed order can be credited to the right channel. These identify a browser, not a person.

How We Use Personal Information

  • To process and ship your order, handle returns, and answer your questions.
  • To run, secure and improve the website, including measuring which pages and searches lead to sales.
  • To send order and shipping notifications. Marketing email goes only to people who have asked for it, and every message has a one-click unsubscribe.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse and to meet our legal obligations.

How We Share Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who need it to do a job for us, and only as much as they need:

  • Shopify, which hosts our cart and checkout, processes payments and stores order records. See Shopify's Privacy Policy.
  • Shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, Spee-Dee and freight carriers) receive your name, address and phone to deliver your order.
  • Google (Analytics and Ads), Cloudflare, Mailchimp, Slack and our hosting providers, as described above.
  • Law enforcement or regulators when required by law, and a buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged.

Some providers may process data outside the United States. We use providers that commit to appropriate safeguards.

Your Rights and Choices

  • Analytics opt-out. Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or email us and we will set an opt-out for you. You can also use Shopify's data-sharing opt-out for checkout.
  • Access, correction, deletion and portability. Email [email protected] and we will respond within the time the law requires. We may need to verify your identity first. Some records (for example tax and accounting records) must be kept even after a deletion request.
  • Marketing. Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in the message.
  • State and regional rights. If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, or in the UK or European Economic Area, you may have additional rights, including the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise them; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

Cookies

We use cookies for the shopping cart, security, remembering your selected vehicle, and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the cart and checkout will not work without essential cookies.

Children

Our website is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password for your account. We keep order records as long as needed to provide service, handle returns and meet legal and tax obligations, and delete or anonymize other data when it is no longer needed.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
