It is commonly fitted to the EA888 2.0 TSI/TFSI and 2.5L TFSI turbocharged engines found in A3, S3, RS3, Golf R, GTI, and Tiguan models. When this sensor fails, it typically triggers an ABS or traction control warning light on the dashboard and disables stability control functions.
