This used OEM Volkswagen AC Climate / Temp Control Unit, OEM part number 3CN907049D, is a rear climate control module removed from a donor Atlas. Also known as the rear temp control unit, it also replaces 3CN907049 and 3CN907049WZU. It manages rear-seat temperature and fan settings independently. Common failure symptoms include the rear vents blowing only hot or cold air regardless of adjustment, or the controls being unresponsive. This unit fits both the 2.0L turbo and 3.6L V6 Atlas models.
