Used OEM BMW AC Compressor, part number 6956716. This genuine compressor was removed from a donor vehicle and is a direct replacement for the original air conditioning unit. It serves the 2.5L and 3.0L naturally aspirated inline-six engines found in multiple E46-generation 3 Series models. A failing compressor often produces a loud knocking or grinding noise from the pulley, or fails to engage the clutch, resulting in warm cabin air.
