The BMW AC Expansion Valve (OEM 9292569) is a genuine used part, removed from a donor i3 or i3s. Also known simply as the expansion valve, it meters refrigerant into the evaporator for proper cabin cooling. When this valve fails, you’ll notice weak or no cold air from the AC system. This example fits both the 0.6L range-extender model and the full battery-electric variant.
