This used BMW Alarm Siren (OEM part number 9493759) is a genuine factory component, also replacing numbers 9383320, 9346258, 9303560, 9198581, and 9187397. It's the audible warning device that sounds when the vehicle's security system detects an unauthorized entry or tampering. Over time, these sirens can fail internally, leading to no sound during an alarm event or a false "alarm system malfunction" message on the dash. This siren was pulled from a donor BMW and is a direct OEM replacement for models spanning the 2 Series through 7 Series, including those with the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.0L inline-six engines.
