Also referred to as the auxiliary coolant pump, this part circulants coolant to support cabin heating and turbocharger cooling on 3.0L turbocharged I6 engines (S55, N55, and S58 families). A failing pump can cause inconsistent heater output or elevated coolant temperatures, especially at idle.
