BMW auxiliary water/coolant pump 9197085 – a used OEM pump removed from a donor vehicle. Also known as an auxiliary coolant pump, it circulants coolant to supplement the main water pump, especially during low-engine-load conditions. A failing pump can lead to inconsistent cabin heat or overheating warnings. This genuine pump supersedes OEM numbers 6951549 and 6978627, and was originally fitted in BMW X5 models with either the 3.0L turbodiesel I6 or the 4.8L naturally aspirated V8.
