This used OEM Audi auxiliary water pump, part number 8K0121601, is also known as an auxiliary coolant pump. It replaces superseded numbers 059121012B, 06D121601, and 95810631300 (also sold for Porsche). The pump recirculates coolant after engine shutdown to prevent hot spots and reduce heat soak; a failing unit may cause a coolant smell, lukewarm cabin heat at idle, or a check-engine light. It was fitted to several Audi models with 1.8T, 2.0T, V6, and V8 engines, as well as the VW-based EA888 and EA837 families, plus the Porsche Macan.
