Used BMW rear axle differential / diff (3.15 ratio), OEM part number 7590912. This is a genuine used OEM unit removed from a donor vehicle. Also known as a rear differential or final drive assembly. A failing differential often produces a whining or grinding noise from the rear of the vehicle, especially during turns or acceleration. This 3.15 ratio unit was originally fitted to BMW X5 models with the 3.0L N52 or N55 inline-six or the 4.4L N63 V8 engine.
