Genuine Audi / Volkswagen Battery Ground Strap / Cable OEM 3C0971250E — a used, salvaged OEM part. Also called a ground cable or battery ground cable, it connects the battery negative to the chassis, completing the 12V return path for all electrical systems. This strap fits 2.0L engines, both diesel and gas turbocharged. When the ground strap corrodes or breaks, symptoms include slow engine cranking, dim headlights, or random electrical faults that come and go. Tested upon removal.
