BMW Brake Anti-rattle Spring / Clip, OEM part number 1159963 (also replaces 1166240). This is a genuine used OEM spring from a donor vehicle, serving as the rear brake anti-rattle clip. It mounts on the left and right sides to secure the brake pads and eliminate vibration noise during braking. When this spring or clip wears out or breaks, you may hear a metallic rattling or clicking sound from the rear brakes.
