Also known as the brake booster vacuum line, it delivers vacuum from the engine to the brake booster on BMWs equipped with 4.4L turbo V8 and 4.8L naturally aspirated V8 engines. A cracked or leaking pipe can cause a hard brake pedal and reduced power assist, compromising braking feel.
