It's designed for the Porsche Panamera equipped with the 4.8L V8 gasoline engine, whether naturally aspirated or turbocharged. The caliper clamps the brake pads against the rotor to slow the car; a sticking or leaking caliper can cause uneven braking, dragging, or premature pad wear.
