BMW rear right brake caliper, OEM part number 2283164. This is a used genuine OEM caliper from a donor vehicle, a direct replacement for the original factory unit. It fits the right-rear position on select BMW M models, including the M3, M5, and M6, as well as the 1 Series M. This caliper is responsible for clamping the brake pads against the rotor to slow the wheel, and a common failure is a seized piston or sticking slide pins that cause uneven braking or a dragging sensation.
