This genuine BMW brake dust / splash shield (OEM 6799327) is the original front left shield, removed from a donor vehicle. Also known as a splash shield, it protects the brake rotor and hub from road debris and prevents brake dust from accumulating on suspension components. A cracked or missing shield can allow grit into the braking area and may cause unusual noises from the rotor. This piece is specific to the BMW i3 and i3s, including the 0.6L range-extender and full battery-electric variants.
