This genuine OEM brake dust / splash shield (BMW part number 6863444) is a used factory component, removed from a donor vehicle. Fitting the left rear or right rear position of the BMW i3 and i3s (including the 0.6L range-extender and full EV variants), it protects the braking system from road debris and contaminants. A cracked or missing shield can allow grit to contact the rotor, causing grinding noises or accelerated wear.
