It serves the hydraulic pressure transfer from the chassis to the caliper on the rear right side. When this hose deteriorates internally, it can cause a spongy pedal or uneven braking force. Fits 2.0L turbo and 3.0L turbo G20/G21 chassis models including the M340i.
