This genuine OEM Brake Light Pedal Switch / Sensor, GPLA9G854AA (also replaces LR072647), was removed from a Land Rover donor. It signals the vehicle's computer and brake lights when the pedal is pressed. A failing switch may cause brake lights to stay on or fail to illuminate, or prevent the transmission from shifting out of park.
