BMW brake master cylinder, OEM part number 6785664, is a used genuine component. This part also replaces 6779720 and 6764131. It converts pedal force into hydraulic pressure to actuate the brakes; when it fails, the pedal may feel spongy or sink to the floor. Found on E90/E92 3 Series and X1 models with 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder, 2.5L and 3.0L naturally aspirated or turbocharged six-cylinder gasoline, and 3.0L diesel engines.
