This used genuine OEM Volkswagen Bumper Impact Absorber Foam (7P6807256H) is the rear foam block installed between the bumper cover and reinforcement bar. It crushes on impact to absorb low-speed collision energy. This part also replaces 7P6807256D and 7P6807256B. If the foam is cracked, compressed, or missing after a minor rear hit, the bumper may sit loosely or fail to absorb impact properly. Removed from a 2011-2018 Volkswagen Touareg with 3.0L TDI, 3.0L Hybrid, 3.6L VR6, or 4.2L V8.
