BMW Bumper Reinforcement Bar / Impact Beam, OEM part number 7229085. This used genuine component mounts behind the front bumper cover to absorb and distribute crash forces. Also called the front impact beam, it is a structural piece that can become bent or cracked in collisions, compromising alignment of the bumper skin and sensors. Replacing a damaged bar restores proper fitment and crash energy management. Removed from a donor BMW X5.
