Used genuine OEM Audi Bumper Shock, part number 4F0807271, for the front left position. This OE shock absorber is designed to mount behind the bumper cover on the C6-generation A6, A6 Quattro, and S6, compressing on low-speed impact to reduce damage to the body and frame. Over time the internal gas or oil can leak, causing the shock to remain compressed and no longer provide proper crash absorption.
