Used BMW Cam / Camshaft Bearing Cap (OEM 0420712) – a genuine, used part removed from a donor vehicle. This cam bearing cap, also known simply as a camshaft bearing cap, supports the camshaft journal in the cylinder head. A worn or damaged cap can cause a knocking noise from the valvetrain or lead to uneven camshaft rotation, which may affect engine timing. Sourced from a 3.0L 2996cc inline-six DOHC naturally aspirated engine, this cap is a direct replacement for the original.
